ORATORIO TEREZIN

This full length work, by Canadian composer Ruth Fazal, is scored for symphony orchestra, children and adult choirs and three vocal soloists. Using some of the children's poetry that miraculously survived the ghetto of Terezon, Fazal weaves them together with passages from the Hebrew scriptures. The musical piece is a tribute to the 15,000 children who passed through Terezin between 1941 and 1944. A mere hundred survived. With support from the UJA Federation Holocaust Centre of Toronto and B'nai Brith Canada.

Tickets are $35-50. Call 416-872-1111 or visit www.ticketmaster.ca to purchase tickets online.
